Cedar Pergola with Privacy Screens – Denver, CO
Project Overview
This custom-built cedar pergola was completed for a client in Denver, Colorado. The project was designed to elevate a backyard patio into a shaded, inviting space for relaxing and entertaining, while also providing strategic privacy from neighbors and the street.
What We Did
We designed and constructed a traditionally styled pergola using high-grade Western Red Cedar. The structure features a precisely spaced roof lattice that casts natural, dappled shade while maintaining an open and airy feel.
Two privacy screens were integrated into the design:
One facing the neighboring yard to create a secluded nook
One toward the street to maintain privacy without fully closing off the space
Both were crafted with horizontal cedar slats, offering visual interest and ventilation.
